Job Description:

Do you have payroll processing experience and are looking to take your career to new heights? Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Payroll Administrator in Vancouver, BC to work for a reputable multinational professional services company. In this role, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payrolls, responding to client inquiries, updating client profiles, tracking payrolls while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare special reports for management
  • Process timely and accurate payrolls while maintaining updated records, voluntary deduction reports, process involuntary deductions such as garnishments, prepare accounting transactions and documents, and update procedures
  • Multitask and build healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers
  • Manage payroll for client employees spread over multiple accounts
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Identify and escalate issues to their manager for quick resolution

Job Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of in-house payroll systems or automated payroll software and processes
  • Experience working on cross functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, flexible, and able to adjust to changing work demands
  • Minimum 3 years of multi-jurisdiction payroll processing experience
  • Understands employee payroll issues, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and communicates solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully
  • Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
