Job Description:

First impressions are always good! As a Royal Service Agent, you take care of our guests’ inquiries over the phone, from arrival to departure, ensuring they have a memorable experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Have sufficient working knowledge of all departments, including housekeeping, reception and technical services;
  • Responsible for guest inquiries and follow-up in accordance with hotel and Royal Service standards;
  • Act as the liaison for clients requesting information relating to all aspects of the hotel;
  • Take room reservations;
  • Handle all calls, external and internal, redirecting them or assisting customers;
  • Take orders for room service and send them to the room immediately;
  • Take restaurant reservations in the absence of the hostess;
  • Update the “royal service” software;
  • Provide courteous, prompt and empathetic service to all customers;
  • Make reservations in restaurants at the request of customers;
  • Communicate all relevant issues to the department manager;

Job Requirements:

  • Organization, team spirit, initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility and empathy
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant customer service experience is required
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience as a telephone operator, in reception or in the hotel industry an asset
  • Ability to use Microsoft Windows (Outlook) and PMS applications
  • Excellent knowledge of English, French and a third language is an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills and oral communication skills required
